Essentials is an introductory course provides a comprehensive foundation of fundamental geospatial and QGIS concepts. Topics include spatial data types, coordinate reference systems, map projections, where to find free and open geospatial data, how to load and style layers in QGIS, map creation, and basic geospatial processing.
