Open Geospatial Learning Associate (project based)

Roles and key responsibilities

As an Open Geospatial Learning Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of our open geospatial learning activities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the design and development of open geospatial learning courses and materials.
• Providing support to the primary trainer before, during, and after training sessions.
• Coordinating logistics for training and learning sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Basic understanding of geospatial concepts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with free and open source software for geospatial (FOSS4G) applications is an advantage
• Willingness to learn is required
