About the role
Roles and key responsibilities
As an AI-Ready Intern (Student Intern), your role involves assisting BHHR in AI and technology-adjacent projects in the Philippines while learning from experienced professionals and gaining valuable experience.
These tasks include but are not limited to:
- supporting the delivery of AI literacy training sessions and learning activities for beneficiaries
- collecting, processing, and analyzing program data (e.g. participant recruitment, attendance, and completion tracking)
- creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations for program monitoring
- coordinating with regional hub partners, facilitators, and participants
- participating in project meetings, workshops, and seminars related to the program
- collaborating with team members to ensure consistency and quality of outputs
A specific task for this role is supporting beneficiary outreach and tracking, which involves:
- maintaining and cleaning participant datasets across regional hubs
- preparing session materials and documentation for training activities
Working arrangements
- Remote-friendly: you can work from your own location (e.g. home office, co-working space, etc.) or our office (Quezon City) with some on-site requirements (e.g. on-site meetings, in-person activities, etc.).
- Results-oriented: we prioritize the quality and timeliness of your outputs over rigid work schedules or requiring your physical or digital presence at specific times/places. There is no time-in/time-out or time-tracking but you will need to be present for mandatory activities and complete deliverables on time.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program or equivalent experience
- Strong spreadsheet-fu
- Good understanding of basic AI concepts and genuine interest in AI literacy and digital inclusion
- Familiarity with open source tools and collaborative platforms
- Comfortable engaging with youth participants and community partners
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or SQL is a plus.
What we offer
- A monthly internship allowance in the range of PhP 10,000 to PhP 12,000 depending on experience and qualifications
